How the heck do you remove friends?

and how do you make the decision who to keep and who to banish? At first when I got to this site, I just added anyone who asked. But now, looking at my list, none of them are what I looking for. I want female fun!
What do you guys think? do you check out people's friend lists and make any assumptions?
Let me know in the comments!

I do not add anyone as a "friend" unless we have a mental connection through IM or email/messages. Most of these folks are point hunters. I have at this time 115 requests for "friend status- I do not have the time to waste declining them. Think about what you want to call "friend"

(Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group

I did not know you could get points for adding friends. You used to be able to get a month of gold membership for 4000 points, I think I read somewhere they don't do that anymore.

You've got to be strict about it. If you haven't messaged or blogged with the person delete them. You'll soon get it down to a manageable number

I hit Decline most of the time. I won't accept anyone with whom I haven't at least had a good chat or two.

If we wound up meeting and it didn't work out, or if the chatting never progresses to a meet, I remove them.

Thanks everyone, I've whittled down the list somewhat. It took forever! I'll be more careful in the future.
